Baltic Alliance to Supply 400,000 Tons per Year of Bonny Light Crude Oil to the Dominican Republic

Baltic Alliance today announced a long-term crude oil supply agreement under which it will deliver 400,000 tons of Bonny Light Crude Oil (BLCO) per year to the Dominican Republic over a 10-year period.

The agreement reinforces Baltic Alliance’s role as a reliable supplier of high-quality crude oil to international markets and supports the Dominican Republic’s energy security objectives through stable, long-term supply arrangements. Bonny Light Crude Oil, produced in Nigeria, is a premium low-sulfur crude widely recognized for its suitability for efficient refining and lower emissions intensity compared to heavier grades.

This long-term supply commitment reflects our ability to structure dependable energy solutions for our partners while strengthening trade links between producing and consuming markets,” said Debra Pearson, a representative of Baltic Alliance. “We are pleased to support the Dominican Republic’s refining and energy needs with a consistent supply of Bonny Light Crude Oil over the next decade.

The contract provides supply certainty and commercial stability for both parties, while further expanding Baltic Alliance’s crude oil trading and supply portfolio across the Atlantic Basin.

Baltic Alliance continues to grow its global crude oil and refined products business, leveraging strategic sourcing, logistics capabilities, and long-term partnerships to deliver secure and efficient energy supply solutions worldwide.
