Baltic Alliance Launches Low-Carbon LNG Project to Strengthen Energy Security and Industrial Growth

The project is designed to enhance LNG supply reliability and drive industrial development across key markets. Upon completion, the initiative has the potential to more than double Baltic Alliance’s LNG production capacity to over 10 million tonnes per annum (mtpa), reinforcing the Company’s position as a growing player in the global LNG value chain.

As part of the initial development phase, the project will increase production capacity by 1.4 mtpa, raising total output from 5.0 mtpa to 6.4 mtpa. Once operational, the expanded capacity is expected to generate up to US$1.9 billion in annual revenue, supporting long-term value creation for stakeholders.

The low-carbon LNG project integrates efficiency improvements and emissions-reduction measures across the production process, aligning with Baltic Alliance’s commitment to responsible energy development and the global transition toward lower-emission fuels. LNG continues to play a critical role as a transition energy source, enabling reduced emissions compared to conventional fuels while supporting economic growth and industrial demand.

The project is scheduled for completion by 2027, subject to regulatory approvals and project milestones.

“Launching this low-carbon LNG project reflects Baltic Alliance’s commitment to meeting growing global energy demand in a more sustainable and responsible way,” the Company said. “This development strengthens our production capabilities while contributing to energy security and regional industrial growth.”
